This article is focused on the prophetic perspectives of God for Liberia. ‘Prophetic’ in this context means, to see and tell from the mind of God’s Spirit His current point of view towards a particular situation. This prophetic insight also means that His revealed will should conform to the Word of God; the Bible.

Therefore, ‘Prophetic Perspectives on Liberia’ allows us to know what is God’s mind and current point of view concerning Liberia as well as receive timely truths and instructions that are matched with the precepts of the word of God as revealed through the Bible.

The Bible provides an insight through the Book of Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 Verse 1: “There is a season to everything and a time to every purpose under the sun”. It teaches us that there is a time frame and seasonal program to the life and destiny of every single thing under the heavens, and that includes nations.

Unlike popular opinion, nations (people-groups) have destinies, purposes, seasons and time shifts for the order of their various purposes. Liberia, for that matter, is no exception in this regard. Liberia has a specific destiny and redemptive purpose. There is also a time frame and seasonal shifts in the order of the fulfillment of her destiny that must be understood carefully, and tactfully tracked by her leading Elders, if she is going to realize that prophetic destiny.

Let’s take for example the truth and lesson taught from the Book of Judges 2:7-11:

  1. 7: “ So the people served the Lord all the days of Joshua and all the days of the Elders who outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the Lord which He had done for Israel.”
  2. 10: “When all that generation had been gathered to their Fathers, another generation arose after them who did not know the Lord nor the work which He had done for Israel.”
  3. 11: “Then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, and served the Baals.”

The truth revealed in these verses are both eternal and life-transforming, and can be captured through the following lessons;

Lesson 1: The people during the times/days of the Elder Joshua, and of the days of the Elders (leaders) who came after him, served the Lord. They did all things right (effectively). They did all things effectively during their days because the Elders of their days had ‘seen’ (had vision of) the great works of the Lord and they “understood” what to do in their seasons. They understood their purpose, the plan/process of it and the destiny of the people. They had a vision of the specific framework set for them by the Creator, hence, everything was done right and the people flourished under them. This teaches us of the undeniable role that leaders have in the effective advancement of any society.

Lesson 2: When all that generation of Elders (leaders) who understood the seasons and time-shifts of their purpose and the order of their destiny had departed, there arose another generation of Elders who “did not know”. They lacked knowledge (understanding) of the purpose, laws, destiny, and time-shifts. Their inability to have a clear vision of the truth and laws that govern the framework of the nation’s destiny led to a complete breakdown of the structure of society. Therefore, the people (nation) began to stray and suffer loss.

This brings us to the importance of why leaders in any society should strongly consider the facts and understand the broader context regarding any issue and its implications on posterity.  The key to the fulfillment of a nation’s destiny lies firmly in the hands of Elders (men and women of knowledge) who know and understand the laws that govern seasons and time-shifts relative to a nation’s destiny.

Here are some of what I consider very important words and prophetic perspectives of the Lord concerning Liberia given to me which must be passed on to Liberia’s Sons and Elders to enable them quickly understand and track what to do, especially in these seasonal shifts of times.

Note: All of these were given to me just before Liberia’s 2017 General Elections, and I believe that they signify prophetic urgency, as I also believe they were given by similitudes (spiritual coding) from the Lord that are expected to be understood to further access the authority to do what must be done to secure the manifestations of the goodly promises of God for our nation’s destiny.
